A big misconception is that people think that a horse should be transported as quickly as possible from start to finish. Certainly over a greater distance it is better to spend the night extra so that the horses get enough rest. As fast as possible is certainly not the same as as good as possible. Een groot misverstand is dat mensen denken dat een paard zo snel mogelijk van begin naar eindpunt getransporteerd moet worden. Zeker over grotere afstand is het beter om extra te overnachten zodat de paarden genoeg rust krijgen.Zo snel mogelijk is zeker niet hetzelfde als zo goed mogelijk. Stop for a rest at captainscabin23 air B&B, 2 big boxes for the night and private appartment for drivers(food available) centre France near Limoges, 20 min acces to A20

...The Road to Performance...The transport of horses does not only mean taking the horses from A to B. It also means thatyou have to think about the needs of your horses. For example:- Always hay and water,- Lots of shavings,- Custom-made stands for the horses where they can stand without being tied on, so that they can move their head (down) freely, which reduces the risk of shipping-fever.- Regular stabling of the horses. It is often better to spend an extra night in a stable instead of driving as long as possible to be home earlier.Thinking about the needs of your horses means a better resistance and therefore a better performance for your horses. We are not trainers, but we can tell you what is best for your horses duringtransport. Happy horses happy people.
