Why is Clever not letting me log in? ›

Your username and password are set up by your school district. They may be your student number, ID, or email address. If you see the error Invalid username or password, this means that the username and/or password you have entered are not correct for your Clever account.

Accessing the Clever Portal

To log in, simply navigate to clever.com/login and search for your child's school. Once found, Clever will remember your selection for future logins. No need to search again! Once you have selected your school, log in using your Badge or school-provided username and password.

Step 3: Log in to Clever as a new user

Navigate to https://clever.com/login and search for your school. Once your school is located, click on the Google button ​and enter your school email address and password. You should now be successfully logged in to the new user's Clever account!

To use a Backup Code, click the Get help signing in! link from your Clever login page, then click Students: Log in with a Backup Code. Enter the Backup Code provided by your teacher and click Log in.

Logging students out of Clever

Teachers also have the ability to log students out of Clever! Log your class out of Clever by following the steps below: Navigate to My Students > Student Roster in the menu on the left side of your Portal. Filter by class.

Your username and password credentials are set up by your school district. They may be your teacher number, ID, or email address. If you are both a teacher and a staff member in Clever, you can access both user accounts using the same set of credentials in most instances.

How you log in to myON depends on your license. Clever users must use the Clever option (Option #4) below.

Once you are in your Clever Portal, you can reset your 6-digit PIN by clicking on your name in the top-right corner, and clicking 'Reset your Badge PIN'.

How do I delete my Clever account? ›

Once you enter the correct login information for your account with this application, click 'Save Login'. Clever will save this information and automatically log you into the application next time you click the icon from the Portal!

Login credentials for Clever are managed by the school district. If you are unsure of your login credentials or receive an error, please reach out to your district support contact or the district's help desk for assistance. You can find your district's technology support contact information on the Clever login screen.

Is Clever down today? According to its status page Clever is currently up.

Verify that you are using the correct username and password. If you use more than one Canvas URL, make sure you are using the correct login and password for each Canvas URL. If your login and password were given to you from your institution and you are having trouble logging in, please contact your institution.

We were not able to authenticate using Google email: xxxx@example.com: This means that the school-provided email address they entered is not the same one linked to their Clever account. Please make sure you are using their school-provided email address.

Users who reset their own passwords must have an email address in Clever for the password reset to work. From the district's login page select Get help logging in! Enter the user's school email address and select Send. A password reset link sent to the email address entered.
