In less than a year, J Balvin has reclaimed his crown as the artist with the most videos in YouTube’s Billion Views Club. The Colombian artist climbed to the top with the entry of David Guetta’s 2018 “Say My Name,” in collaboration with Bebe Rexha and Balvin.

“With the move, Balvin breaks a three-way tie with Bad Bunny and Ozuna for the artist with the most entries in the Billion Views Club as a lead, featured artist or collaborator,” according to an official press release. “Say My Name” marks the French DJ’s fifth title with more than one billion views, as well as Rexha’s third entry. Meanwhile, Balvin has 14 videos in the coveted club, followed by Ozuna and Bad Bunny, who have 13 entries each.

Just in February, Ozuna tied with Balvin as the most-watched artists on the platform, with the entry of “Siguelo Bailando” — both acts surpassed the previous titleholder Justin Bieber. But now, Balvin breaks the tie with “Say My Name.” The next Balvin videos closest to the one billion mark are the Tainy-assisted “Agua” (currently at 930 million views) and “Sensualidad” with Bad Bunny and Prince Royce (currently at 908 million views).

Earlier this year, Balvin (real name: José Álvaro Osorio Balvin) made his comeback after a nearly 10-month hiatus from social media and creating music.

“Really right now, I’ve been focused on my family,” he previously told Billboard about his break. “I left social media to be connected to my reality and to my family. That has taught me a lot — to live more in the present. Obviously, I miss my fans, but when the time is right, I’ll be back.”

Balvin is currently making the rounds with his single “En Alta,” with newcomers Quevedo, Yovngchimi and Omar Courtz — an infectious electro-trap fusion about manifesting nothing but good vibes and being surrounded by positive-minded people.
